These appointments are in accordance with applicable Board Policy A–74, “Citizen Participation in County Boards”, California Government Code1780(h), "Vacancy in elective office on governing board of special district”, and Board Policy A-134, “Procedures for Appointment to Resources Conservation District Board of Directors.”

Recommendation by Chair Terra Lawson-Remer:
Appoint Missy Bell to Child And Family Strengthening Advisory Board of San Diego, Seat 23, to complete the unexpired term, set to expire February 06, 2028.
Appoint Sam McMannus to fill Seat 4 on the Jacumba Community Services District Board, currently vacant, and to complete the unexpired term for Seat 4, set to expire on December 4, 2026.
Waive Board Policy A-74, “Citizen Participation in County Boards, Commissions and Committees”, and re-appoint Maggie Sleeper to Resource Conservation District, Seat 1, for a term to start December 1, 2026, and to expire November 29, 2030.
Re-appoint Michael McGrath to Resource Conservation District, Seat 2, for a term to start December 1, 2026 and to expire November 29, 2030.
Waive Board Policy A-74, “Citizen Participation in County Boards, Commissions and Committees”, and re-appoint Neil Meyer to Resource Conservation District, Seat 7, for a term to start December 1, 2026, and to expire November 29, 2030.
Appoint Dylan Nigh to San Diego Military and Veterans Advisory Council, Seat 7, for a term to expire October 06, 2030.

Appoint Ruth Tracy Ellis to the San Diego County Environmental Health and Quality Advisory Board, Seat 15, for a term to expire October 06, 2029.
