ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION DECLARING ELECTION RESULTS OF THE APRIL 8, 2025 FIRST SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT SPECIAL PRIMARY ELECTION (DISTRICTS: ALL)

OVERVIEW
State law requires that the Board of Supervisors (Board) declare the election results for those offices and measures under its jurisdiction. For the April 8, 2025 First Supervisorial District Special Primary Election, the Board must declare the results for the office of Board of Supervisors - District 1.
Today's action requests the Board to adopt a resolution declaring these election results.
RECOMMENDATION(S)
CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
1. Adopt a Resolution entitled RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE APRIL 8, 2025 COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO FIRST SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT SPECIAL PRIMARY ELECTION (Attachment A, on file with Clerk of the Board).

By voting, San Diego residents have a direct impact on their health, equity, the economy, and environment. With the County's implementation of the vote center model, all active registered voters receive a ballot in the mail as required by current law. This increases accessibility by providing voters with the opportunity to consider the method that is most convenient for them to return their ballot and has the possibility of reducing vehicles miles traveled to cast their vote.
